Canucks will have 21 mil in space if they move Burrows , 17 if not. I think Tanevs agent knows Canucks have no one and will want a home run. The other side of that is the following year Kassian will probably get a pay cut to make up the difference

I just have a hard time giving Tanev big money long term... they guy is just a reliable defender... does nothing special and isn't large enough to clear the net. If he ever gets anything over 4.5 mill I think it will look like an albatross later on.... I have nothing against Tanev just don't respect him at all offensively. I think he is a 3-dman with zero PP time. What is that worth?

I still think our biggest problem is our top 6 forwards. We have three of them with 6 goals and 1 with 5 after 30 games. Only one of them has had a fight this year. We are a marshmellow soft team. Phil Kessel has had as many fights this year as our top 6.

BTW Stanton had the second hardest shot yesterday at the skills contest 101 mph.

Tanev uses a local Vancouver agent, who has like 5 clients. With the most notable being Duncan Keith.

Hopefully we can get him signed at the same bargain value that Keith is to the blackhawks.

You are right, the shakeup we need is not in the bottom forward lines, but the top6.

Wondering when or if Dany gets moved to 2nd line wing? Signing Vrbata and playing him with the Sedins has turned Dany into another setup man on that line and that is one too many.

Then again, who would you move up to the first, Higgins? nuts.

Really, Horvat should be going to the juniors tourney, if the team is that bad that the idea of missing Horvat, a rookie on the 4th line, for 6 games means we miss the playoffs, then maybe we should be missing the playoffs.

Taking my little 15 year old son, hopefully the movie doesn't blow chunks...

Looking forward to seeing if Bettman is in this one.

Taking my little 15 year old son, hopefully the movie doesn't blow chunks...

The third one should be pretty good. I am a huge Tolkien fan and I definitely think Peter Jackson dropped the ball but it's entertaining and the vistas are fantastic

Schenn has 1 fight in a won game
Kane has 2 fights 1 in a win & 1 in a loss
Lucic has 2 fights 1 in a win & 1 in a loss, he also has 3 misconducts all in lost games.

Fighting is in the game for entertainment reasons, have you noticed how many fights are happening in Nascar, it's because the stands are empty.
