The one issue with moving a dman like Bieksa is who's going to replace him? We don't have the prospects within the system to replace him so you've gotta target a young dman.

Our prospects, due to poor drafting, is not able to provide guys yet, we need another three years of solid drafting. Unfortunately we're kinda stuck in no mans land right now.

you are so bang on about being stuck in no mans land with these NTCs and bad prospects.Lets see what JB is made of . Will he wait the three years until they expire or sterp up and force the issue.

The problem with keeping those players is that Vey/Kassian/Jensen et al end up with fewer opportunities to succeed.

At some point a spot needs to be made for youth, might as well be when those vets have some value.

That's assuming all 12 forwards will be healthy, rarely is that the case. In fact, even with just one injury you would have room for all of those guys if Burrows got traded.
