its not a coincidence that beau bennets initials are the same initials as bubble boy. he looks weak and frail even at his healthiest

what a POS voynov is too, such a shame bc you know she will never leave him now, they still live together, she didnt want to pursue charges...maybe in prison he can become someones btch

Harsh!

After American History X, I am no longer in favor of crime. Or prison. Or hate. Or stomping too hard.

I was joking about Tanner Glass giving Sid mumps but rumor has it that Sid had dinner with Tanner in New York when they played each other....

People often blame Consol Energy Center as the cause of the Pens' bad luck with injuries and crap over the last handful of years. Maybe Beau Bennett has been the source of all the bad luck instead? Since he was drafted I'm 2010, we've had complicated concussions, ACL injuries, blood clots, cancer, disappearing offense in playoffs, disappearing goaltending in playoffs, and now mumps.

Maybe he's like the organization's Tiki Idol?

If he gets his contract voided and deported, he'll probably make millions in the KHL.

he will be on all those propaganda videos where putin plays against the countrys best players and scores every goal and voynov will be right there feeding him the puck

of course the reason they let him score is so their entire family doesnt go missing

Mario had so pretty bad luck as well but he was still able to become one of the best(best imo) in the game despite his luck.

Yeah Pens med staff has done some questionable things recently. The way they handles Sids brain was pretty bad. I remember a report inbetween periods of the WC he looked lost in teh locker. They said he was GTG, then again against TBL? Sid basically had to on his own to use DR Carrick to get treatment in ATL.
- sammy87

The Pens changed doctors after sids neck injury was diagnosed. So you have to try and separate the management of injuries and treatments as pre and post that.

Plus slightly different to that the mumps are an issue because you're contagious before you show symptoms. So if someone else on the team is going to get them, they'll already have them.

At least this is going through the team now, not March April or May.

True, I forgot they changed med staff.

The mumps thing is crazy. It is by and large a disease that has been pretty much eradicated in the US.

It did start in ANA, not sure if Euros get the MMR or not, but Im willing to bet SOCAL has a large hippie population that thinks vaccines are a corporate conspiracy.

I heard about beau on the news today. I wasn't online most of the day but I see that everyone is already aware. The doctor they were interviewing on channel 4 said for adults the vaccine is something like 70 or maybe it was 80 percent successful leaving a 30 to 20 chance that it does nothing to help you. I actually wasn't aware of this and assumed it was a vaccine with 100% success rate as long as you took it and the booster.

I'm kinda glad to know this know because I was starting to worry if somehow the virus had mutated and that this was the beginning of a larger problem where no one had thought to suggest the possibility of a new strain.

Seeing lots of nos to Tangs. Guy has been one of the Avs best most consistent forwards this season, he wont be going anywhere...especially since Iggy signed there to play with him again.

Briere could be a depth at the deadline pick up, hes playing well as a RW.

and since Talbot has MacKinnon living in his basement, don't think he goes anywhere either.

McGinn would have been the most logical target if he didn't have season ending back surgery

- DDM-Coga

Please tell talbot to tell MacKinnon to start putting up points for my pool. I am days away from dropping him but know when i do he will go off

The Mumps took one look at Craig Adams and with fear in its heart went straight for BB. If he gets extended or even offered a qualifying offer after this season I will be pissed. Another season hearing things like "Beau's got potential if he can string together a couple games!" is just too much.

I think that overall he does an excellent job and writes a very informative blog. The fact that he comes up with something that is interesting and discussion worthy is a huge credit to him and his dedication to the blog. That having been said, his almost constant negativism towards his trio of favorite whipping boys (MAF, Scuderi, and Adams) is pretty obvious, especially when he seems almost incapable of giving them any kind of sincere praise when they do something positive. We all have our favorites and guys we dread, so calling him on it shouldn't be any bigger deal than when the rest of us in the peanut gallery tease Bartley for his hatred of Sutter (which I think is presently the best running joke on the blog).
- Emperor Filonius

I think some of us take his negativity of these players 'personally'.
Gunner looks at these (espeically Fleury) from a cap value point of view.

I am constantly defending Fleury when we chat before and after our podcasts, as for Scud and Adams, I really do agree with Gunner on their negative output for this roster.

If you listen to our podcast you will know that I was pretty sure the Penguins were going to move on from MAF, and I am still unsure if signing him was the right idea.

The only way us Penguins fans are going to know if signing him was the right idea will be getting to the Conference finals and if we lose there and its not MAF's fault.

It is pretty obvious to see that this version of MAF is a lot closer to the 07-08 playoff run than we have watched since.

I am hoping Ryan is wrong in his assessment of MAF, but that is purely from a 'fan love' point of view.

Don't forget these things can mutate and becoming 'immune' themselves to our vaccines.

It is why research is always done to try and make sure we stay ahead of an outbreak.

Kinda hard to keep it out of a league with so many areas to incubate and be passed on.
