My scouting sucks

I was disappointed when you said Kühnhackl's boat had sinked. Also Marcantuoni and Uher..

Id give Marc another season being that this is his first as for the other 2 avg ahl talent prob heading to Europe

Wouldn't be in this game without fleury holding the fort in the first. Glad Johnston made some adjustments because the 2nd and 3rd have been completely different from that first period.

Yep. MAF was out of his mind under heavy duress. I think at one point shots were 7 to 0.

Well, Ryan should be happy. Spaling probably has a broken hand.

Is it bad that I am not upset by this either? Spaling hasn't exactly been proving his worth of 2.2. Granted, Downie and Comeau are making it hard to be a value.

I agree the cap hit is hurting him, but the last few games ive really started to notice some hustle in his game and even more out of him when it comes to being defensively responsible (not that he was ever a liability back there), so I've been happy with his play since the injuries started piling up. If only we could get some more offense from him.

I've noticed Letang has stopped trying to kill every shot and now is hitting the net on a more regular basis. He has a cannon, but has no control when he fires it at full power. Good to see him making the adjustment.

He does a lot of good things that result in wins. On the PK, being the defensively responsible guy on a skilled line.

And then offesively, he's on an 11 goal pace this year. He scored 13 last year. If folks were expecting 20 goals out of him, their expectations were off.

He's probably making too much for what he brings, but the extra $750,000 or so isn't killing the team.

And he's back on the bench.

Hes been really great these last few games as well. He had a really tough stretch earlier in the season but im glad everyone is working out their kinks and bad habbits now, much like despres. Now if only this team could get healthy I can't wait to see them dominating for a stretch again, get that power play back up and those early game pushes!

Ehrhoff has that problem. He's missing the net 40% of the time. He needs to get more pucks on net, because he does shoot a lot compared to Martin, Maatta, Despres, and of course Scuderi.

Letang was missing the net 21% of the time coming into the night, which is a remarkable number for a defenseman.

tbh i hadnt looked at his projections, so thats very good indeed. I definitely didnt expect that much but I guess hes surprised me, I have to pay attention to him more.

For a change of topic, I've just gotten caught up on the new stories out there saying taylor hall is going to be available, but thats because hes a problem in the locker room and is un coachable. With those stories out there, do the people who liked his name still want to take a chance on him?

I still think hed be an amazing fit and with all the toxicity over there im not surprised that young core has little effort or the will to listen with that management still around.

That shot was right down the gut if they weren't.

Why they were worried about being embarrassed at that point was beyond me.

They got smoked by half a Penguins squad.

Did Stamkos play tonight?

I heard Stamkos was crying about how the Penguin's staff "let" Crosby infect the NHL... Also heard this from my father, so who knows how close that is to the truth.

No, but I also don't want to read how every time one of our players throws a heavy hit in a game that should be suspended for 2 months. Or how we should trade most of the team away for guys who look better in charts and graphs. Screw team bonds and chemistry, trade em all. And trade all the young guys the Penguins have spent 4 years developing for bad band-aid player who might help the rest of the season but completely neutralizes the team from being competitive in the future. There will be seasons after this one and if we trade away our future for some hit or miss trade player and then watch the player we traded away become a star for another team when we should of never traded him in the first place then guess who will be the first one to bit$h about how we lost out on that player, Ryan Wilson the legend in his own mind.
