No, but I also don't want to read how every time one of our players throws a heavy hit in a game that should be suspended for 2 months. Or how we should trade most of the team away for guys who look better in charts and graphs. Screw team bonds and chemistry, trade em all. And trade all the young guys the Penguins have spent 4 years developing for bad band-aid player who might help the rest of the season but completely neutralizes the team from being competitive in the future. There will be seasons after this one and if we trade away our future for some hit or miss trade player and then watch the player we traded away become a star for another team when we should of never traded him in the first place then guess who will be the first one to bit$h about how we lost out on that player, Ryan Wilson the legend in his own mind. - Dcoms
I was going to reply with a lot more but ill just cut it down to this, I think you're projecting or reading into what gunner is saying the wrong way.
That said I agree about not making stupid rental trades, but you and some others take it way to (frank)ing personal when gunner is critical of one of our own players. Hes consistent it how he believes punishment should be doled out and tries not to have homer shades on when it comes to our own hits and controversies. But when you say that, its just over exageration. |

Fleury being fleury during the regular season. Rust has looked pretty solid, Farnham is fast as poop, but that's about it. Taylor Hall on the tade block? Too bad the pens have absolutley no assets for him besides maatta and soke first round picks |

MAF kept us in it in the first, next two periods the Pens found chemistry and much better possession and offensive pressure. Hard fought game and the Wilkes Barre Pens made a big difference. |

I heard Stamkos was crying about how the Penguin's staff "let" Crosby infect the NHL... Also heard this from my father, so who knows how close that is to the truth. - Guile
Stamkos might have a case there if Crosby was the first NHL player with the mumps but there have been at least 10 before him, in fact who was patient zero as far as NHL players go? Thats the guy they need to go back to, the gestation period for the mumps can be anywhere from 12 -28 days so they were all exposed to one or 2 guys somehow and it spread. I wonder how bad it will get? |

He does a lot of good things that result in wins. On the PK, being the defensively responsible guy on a skilled line.
And then offesively, he's on an 11 goal pace this year. He scored 13 last year. If folks were expecting 20 goals out of him, their expectations were off.
He's probably making too much for what he brings, but the extra $750,000 or so isn't killing the team.
And he's back on the bench. - hardnosed
I would agree with RW that the Pens overpaid for Spalling, but thats water under the bridge. He's been a perfectly responsible 4th line player, who's been playing more minutes than should really be asked of him due to the injury situation. |

Great game by MAF tonight. Very impressed.
Rust has a great mind for the game. I would have to think he is a better option than Sill moving forward.
Despres still has positioning issues when in space, but man is his game just looking better every game.
I'm really hoping we get a look at Harrington this week but I doubt it. Oh well, very good win tonight. |

They out worked them for 60 min , won puck battles , all over the ice !!!! I think THEY played well , we just flat out put the hammer down and never took it off. And I was told not to say it anything about a certain goalie , so I won't... |

And who was saying Downie was a useless, penalty monger ? He played arguably his best game he's played in a Pens uniform! |

Congrats to Rust and Dumoulin on their first NHL tallies. When players like Crosby, Kuni, and Maatta are out players like those guys have to step up and they did. Real quality win against TB. |
