I would of kept him but brought in a better goalie to push him than Labackup. Chabot should of been the first to go. It was clear Dubnyk had zero confidence and that the organization was ready to move on. Hard for a young goalie to play in a situation like that.

Under Eakins the whole team is walking backwards, but again I'm with Grandpa Iggy don't replace Eakins cause is a sure thing under Eakins the Oilers will be picking First or Second Overall, and yeah no trades are coming nothing is changing it seems it took lots of people to realize how bad Eakins is, not sure who told me that the team had improve, well people just need to look at the standings to see how much the Oilers have improve.

I think Eakins has the team playing a better defensive game than before but we've traded Gagner for Draisaitl which hurts. We've had both goalies regress and that hurts us. There have been some regression for players and it's up to MacT to provide Eakins with more NHL talent.
