This season is on everybody from management down. The players need to wake up and unfortunately with how many coach's we have gone through it doesn't seem to be happening. |

I wouldn't even mind Todd being assistant, and eventually being head coach. He's proven he can coach a team in the AHL, he deserves a chance to help coach in the NHL. Imo |

I felt the Oilers shot themselves in the foot by hiring Eakins. At that point we had Kreuger and we had Nelson knocking on the door. They should of promoted Nelson to assistant to Kreuger. Then they could of brought up Laxdale from the Oil Kings to handle OKC rather than lose him to Texas. Would of been a solid message that we promote from within if players coaches gms whoever work hard. |

If they get 1st overall pick again, I say dangle it and let the bidding war develop. This team needs a true top flight dman far more than they need another forward, however talented he may be.
