It's a disgrace though, and I'm sorry but I do feel that the Sabres deserve someone like McDavid or Eichel more than the Oilers at this point

i'm sorry... what?? please enlighten us as to why Buffalo deserves it more? the Sabres have been a terribly, terribly managed hockey club since about 2007/2008. terrible drafting, terrible signings. they clung to mediocrity for a few years because they had a Vezina calibre goalie in his prime. but aside from that the Sabres have been a terribly run organization for 7 years now. and this year they purposely dismantled what was left of the organization is a transparent attempt to finish dead last in the NHL. how you can possibly place the Sabres above the Oilers in this regard is mindblowing.

i think the Oilers are ridiculous but if they had the kind of goaltending Buffalo is getting from Enhroth they wouldn't be 7-24.

Anyone that believes that management, ownership, coaching or players are OK with losing and trying to lose are just being butthurt and ridiculous. Katz has ripped them internally. Mact has no one giving him any real offers. Eakins has players making junior mistakes. Goalies can't make a save. To say they are tanking on purpose is stupid. I expect that from Cloutier types.

Besides your blatant lack of knowledge regarding the Sabres pipeline, a proper rebuild takes place when your owner and GM realize the talent on your team just isn't good enough to win. So we took action, sold off our vets and collected young talent and high picks. In what world is that a "transparent attempt" to fail? No. What it is, sir, is a rebuild. To acquire a different set of talent, to acquire different types of players who may have the potential to go much farther than the last set. Our organization was gutted of disinterested vets. Darn. We got rid of players that didn't want to be here. Yeah, I guess we're failing on purpose now. Get your head out of you backside.

yeah I wouldnt say thats true based on the drafting recently, but its been something like 8 1st round draft picks in the last 4 drafts? You are bound to hit a few keepers based on pure volume alone

well im not even talking about 2012-2014. im talking about the drafts that got them into the situation they're in. when you tank out like that, bad drafting is usually the root cause.

whats worse? even if people decide not to go (or give their tickets to kids, which while a nice gesture, has made this the worst atmosphere to watch "professional" hockey), katz only gets 25% of revs currently.....you're actually screwing Northlands more that DKatz......hence, no moves, no heads rolling, no nothing
