Nothing is worth having this train wreck of a hockey player on our team. The guy has 1 quality to his game. He can shoot the puck really hard. Although what good is it when he hardly ever gets it either on net or past the other teams defense. I don't get this whole philosophy that because our forwards aren't scoring we need a defenseman with offensive upside to come in and fix it. Hard to score goals when you can't get the puck out of your own end of the ice. Here's the secret to beating Brad Hunt 1 on 1. Ready for it? Skate around him.

He is 4th in AHL scoring among d, and he is over a point per a game. If we argue that Lander deserves a call-up because he plays a position we need and he is top 15 in scoring then why does that argument not apply to Hunt?

The NHL can change anything they want. An example is the back sliding contracts being penalized after they were agreed upon by the NHL in good faith and no rules were broken

I don't get the Marincin banishment unless he wasn't doing something that management was asking him to do. I think at this point in the season it is worth seeing if Hunt has gained some confidence lighting up the AHL, same with Lander.

I don't think confidence was ever the issue with Hunts game. It was purely ability. As in he is absolutely unable to play in the NHL.

Anyone that believes that management, ownership, coaching or players are OK with losing and trying to lose are just being butthurt and ridiculous. Katz has ripped them internally. Mact has no one giving him any real offers. Eakins has players making junior mistakes. Goalies can't make a save. To say they are tanking on purpose is stupid. I expect that from Cloutier types.

Hunt and Schultz play completely different roles than Marincin. Marincin is not a Pp guy with a shot. Hunt is nothing more than a temp call up. He lights up the AHL same as Schultz did. Neither should be a core dman.

I'm not sure, he wasn't shooting as much as he should have and he kept looking to pass off while in prime shooting lanes. He also couldn't hit the net but he seems to have less trouble in the AHL. Could be confidence or it could be he is just more comfortable in the AHL.

Why do you think Hunt is coming up? Our PP is 3 for the last 28. Its pretty clear what they are bringing him in for. Klef has been looking better on the pp but we have no other shot from the blue line.
