We should see if Carolina wants to borrow some of our higher end players. Lets make this official. Even with the draft odds being more spread out there is still a good chance that 2 of the bottom three will pick in the bottom three. It sucks now but Eichel or McDavid would be something to get excited about. Niether rookie is huge but they aren't tiny either and at 195 lbs for 18 year olds, that is a good sign that they could challenge RNH for top spot someday maybe not too far and I like RNH.

You know, that's the thing. I often look back at that team of plumbers we had in '97 or '98.

Man Sather had balls ! He traded away a bunch of great skill players too because they didn't work hard.czerkawski ( hottest wife in the NHL ) , Arnott ( because he just wasn't into it some nights) Satan ( Sather told him he should try out for the ice capades....Bonsignore was a regular guest of Sathers in the Managers box) ....this management group doesn't have the balls to do that, and they wonder why this is t a hard working team.

I don't think I could, I'm not that old. I don't understand why a whole organization can just let this pouty dispassionate play go. Call up all the scrubs in the AHL and play them while the guys who play like Schultz sit in the box.

I don't understand how Mac T and Lowe can't see this? I guess they were playing elsewhere when those guys were busting their asses.

Is there really that little hope in Edmonton? I know it's pretty dark, but the talent level is undeniable. What will it take to truly right the ship?

It's so maddening to see guys get pushed off the puck by smaller players and just wheel around and not try to get it back, or see a guy blow up a team-mate while everyone just looks at the ice and pretends they didn't see.

That's one thing I loved about Cogliano, he was small but he hit everything he could and he never stopped moving.
