NYR Derek Brassard is the latest NHL player with the mumps. Being sent back to NYC.

Have any americans had it so far this year?

Wondering if Canadians get the mmr, very strange.

edit: official now

I guess its good Nash lost the weight, cause nobody would have been able to tell the last couple years if he had the mumps.

Ok I'm gonna turn the game off, let's see if it pays off, look like shyt thus far, execution is god awful, Girardi and Moore are turnover machines, looks like a continuation of their last meeting

I was going to comment throughout the game tonight but seeing your the only one on here tonight and you post this 10 minutes through a 60 minute game I'll stay off the blog tn. Your posts get tiring game after game.

Much better 2nd half of the period than the first. Hopefully they can build off it and add to the lead.

Also not a basketball fan in any sense, but as a New Yorker is it wrong to take great pleasure in the Knicks being terrible?

Eh Vin's a glass always 80% empty miserable (frank). Just be glad the score isn't reversed or else you'd be reading a rant about how the franchise is an embarrassment and won't win another championship until Sam Rosen dies.

F off ya little cheerleader, if not for a lucky goal they look as pathetic as the 1st time they met, their execution is putrid, this team won 5-1 last night? doesn't look like it

Well yeh because I'm not an overly emotional douche in my fandom. I've read these boards since the 04-05' lockout, and I can't count how many times I've read you denounce the team/franchise, refer to them as pathetic losers, and announce you were done watching games/posting comments for the year, only to be back the next day. It's hard to even think of you as a fan.

Maybe try avoiding the internet during games.

Should we win 5-1 every night? Or do we play against other NHL teams that are competing to win the game also.

Not an exciting game in any sense, but coming away with the win means a 3 game win streak, so I'll watch til I pass out.
