cherry hates the Canucks so he has to find one guy on the team he can go on about, and that's Bieksa... won't talk about Edler's turnaround this year, Sbisa playing better, Matthias starting to play to his strengths (good game today), Sedins rejuvenated with Vrbata, Burrows comeback. Won't ever give any insight or analysis on why the canucks are doing well, or what they can improve. always just what's wrong with the team, unless it's some point or the other about a hard nosed guy on the team... like Bieksa.

Cherry sees a lot of games and sees a lot of mistakes . He coached tons of Dmen and is use to their screw ups. I think he likes the other tangibles Bieksa brings.

if he likes hits, so what about Sbisa hitting guys out of the building... ? really like what this guy is bringing every game in terms of physical play and getting better in the d zone. he gets his act together on the offensive side of the puck and he'll be a solid top 3/4 dman.

Give it time he will like Sbisa. Cherry is old ,he only bothers with top pairings. It is too difficult for him to bother with bottom pairing D

I think if you get the callup, you try your best to play the same game you played in AHL only at a higher level. Don't try to do too much, but make sure you are doing enough that coaches notice that you're there

He played 16 of 48 games in the shortened season . Missed 13 games last year , this year has missed 13 already.

He costs 5.25 mil per year getting old, and has less goals than HANSEN and doesn't check any where near the same.

I wouldn't want that deal.
