So if Canucks played a Saturday game ever , I would have won the pool this week. I sat players yesterday and today I have one starter , Steven Weiss. Chest has like about 15 Canucks starting today

I had a shiddy week too, won't get three goaltender starts again this week because Varlamov is hurt again and my three backups all played once, on the same frickin day.

Dallas, Colorada & Minnesota are not as good as y'all thought, this is good for our team. And, the Oilers still suck goat balls Vantel, sorry

We need three ingredients to make a strong playoff push and even though we are good in the standings so far we only have one of those three ingredients and that's Horvat staying up.

The other two ingredients are a top 5 Dman (Myers or Byfuglien type) and a winger to play with (and create space for) Bonino. If we don't somehow get the latter two it's gonna be a tough grind in the back half of the season. Burrows and Higgins have worked ok so far with Bonino but with Bonino's lack of speed he needs space and I'm not sure long term Higgins or Burrows are the guys to get it to him. Man I wish Kassian would have gotten his head straight and his act together cause when Kassian plays his game that is exactly what Bonino needs. But Kassian aint gonna see the 2nd line anytime soon...if ever.

Sure it's great to have Jensen and Corrado ready to go to fill an injury but they are NOT ready for the crash and bang of the western conference down the stretch. We will need battle hardened players to get that done and that means a trade or two. If we have to sacrifice a pick or two and a prospect that maybe mngt isn't sure on then so be it...that's how things are done by teams wanting to get in the playoffs and make a push. Markstrom the jury is out for his NHL play but I would love to see him in an NHL net to see if he has actually improved for that level.

Horvat already has a man's body and plays like it so no worries about him at all vs western rivals.But if we do not get those final two key pieces getting into the playoffs is gonna be DOUBLE tough. But we are on the right track so far with Horvat staying up.

I'm not sure where But(frank)enugly ever got the reputation as god of defensemen, but if he comes to this team, there will be no playoffs in the near future. Slow, fat and can't skate any faster than my 4 year old granddaughter. There is more to a defenseman than standing if front a goalie.

I also get that Horvat is going to become a good player, but he is not the playoff saviour you are making him out to be. Maybe he will be, but you can't proclaim he is the 1 of 3 pieces required to go deep

Canucks need to let Bo develop as an NHLer on the fourth line them move him up to the third when he is ready and second if he ever becomes that good.

Canucks need a second line winger and a Big D not necessarily Byfuglien.

If Canucks could get Andrew Ladd that would be a nice addition . Yes Nucker Jets captain. He has only this year and next year left on the contract.

Yup neither of us will qualify for goals starts. Something wrong when 3 of 18 members don't qualify for a third of the points

I think the goalie issue needs to be addressed next year . Maybe back to 2 starts and no team can have more than two goalies. The goalie pool has only players that will never see another start in their lifetime and goalies that won't start for 6 more years

i think he would be a good choice. The guy loves it here and would give us solid D for at least two more years. He could play anywhere from 1 to 6 .

And he would be willing to kick the crap out of Kesler when they played. He hated the little pr1ck..

If u need a goalie trade for one. You had no problem dealing Rinne when the offer was good enough. You give to get. I traded Rinne because I got what I wanted for him.

Goalies are valuable.... that is why people were knocking some of the trades for goalies.... by adding shutouts and 3 min starts it made them much more valuable then roster players. Can't change rules that people built their teams with though.
