He's still here but all some of you can see is last year. He's 5th in SOG for defencemen this year, he plays tough minutes (a lot of them) and he's +5. His point totals are a bit low right now but he's just gaining his confidence back. - LeftCoaster
Him and Tanev have been our top pairing. He looks good |

Anyone else have the feeling that Shinkaruk is just too small to make an impact on this team?
You need to be a real special talent to play in this league when you're that small.
I dont know how I feel about him. |

I was more open/eager to trade him in a package for an E.Kane type than most. I'm not as high on him as some here who love him, but he's still a solid prospect. I'd trade him only if it's part of a package for a solid young NHL'er. |

I think he has the ability, but it will take him a year or two to figure it out in the system. I think best case scenario is that he's ready in 2016-2017. Honestly, I wish Kassian was still playing in the AHL too. |

He's not that small. I don't think he's going to be the second coming of Christ but I don't think it's wise to write him off yet |

Pick on someone your own size.
Best Regards,
Patrick Kane.
You just gotta have heart to compete. I think he has that in spades. A lot of teams (Calgary) are going to be sorry they passed on him. |

One of the qualities that had him projected as a top ten pick was his skating, he's very shifty and rides the edges allowing him to outmaneuver many bigger players.
Hopefully he continues that trend but he's also a tenacious for checker and is surprisingly good low long the boards.
The skill is there, I suppose it's up to our system to develop him now.
Could become a more talented Gallagher or a total bust ala J.S

I'm pretty content. Shink is coming off a major injury as well. Time will tell but I think Poirier is hardly half the player.
Lets not forget how much more pp time and top 6 minutes EP gets because his team isn't very good.
As far as faster? The majority of scouts had Shink ahead or Poirier. Must be something that put him in front. Their speed isn't close. I believe Shink was rated as the best skater in the draft. Whether either turns out to be an NHL star remains to be seen. This isn't edm where all of our picks are sure fire hall of famers who we hand 6 mill per season before they prove anything |

Sounds like how winter here has become. Given our humidity -30 here makes -30 there seem like a warm breeze. Anytime it wants to get back to regular winters here would be alright with me |

I don't know that anyone can say Flames aren't that good. They are 9 th overall now and have some good young talent. They turned around rather quickly unlike their provincial rivals. |

So if Canucks played a Saturday game ever , I would have won the pool this week. I sat players yesterday and today I have one starter , Steven Weiss. Chest has like about 15 Canucks starting today |

They've sure opened a lot of peoples eyes so far haven't they! Sean Monahan is a great young center, better than I thought, also, that kid Johnny Gaudreau is playing lights out for a little guy…but the truth of it is, their success is coming from their defence and their goaltending, not their forwards. |

I realize that, I am impressed how they built an all around team. |
