I thought that the hit was deserving of the 10 games, I don't see enough of Cassel's games to say he isn't a dirty player, but that's the impression I get. The hit was pretty brutal though, Cassel looks likes he accelerates into it and traps the the guys head between his shoulder and boards.

Hopefully the other player is fine and Cassel's can adjust his play without losing his physical edge.

I'd say that he's lucky to just get ten. Ugly hit.

Props to Mark Donnelly on the great rendition of Danny Boy. Very moving. Also glad he didn't trip on the ice when he came out to sing it.

This is a guy we need in the organization. Hopefully he is the Nucks new agitator in a few years.

Plus he can score. I'm not too concerned about the suspension. It's good to know he finishes his checks.

I thought the other suspension that was handed out was way worse of hit. The one on Pavel Zacha

he does have some serious potential, but he was also buried behind about 5 of our prospects.

Dumb hit however i don't believe it was intentional as he seems to throw his shoulder up to protect his own head as he turns his back to the Attack's player.

Poor decision on his part, ten games is a long time to wait to get back on the ice.

Apparently it might also affect his ability to play in the WJC as the IIHF does respect suspensions of other leagues. To bad if that's the case but I doubt it hurts his development too much.
