He does need a centre yes, he should be given time (not just half a game) with Nuge and Ebs should be on the 2nd line. But Ebs is their favourite and can do no wrong, will never be demoted or held accountable for his play

Eberle needs to be traded. He's got more value than Yakupov or Perron right now and he prohibits the development of both IMO. He'd get the best return for a goaltender/center/d-man when packaged and would allow the proper use of the other two top six wingers outside Hallgod.

I'd agree. No fan cares about value of a team, they care about the performance of said team. Money earned/spent by a team is only an issue if the fans are feeling the effects, i.e. teams that don't spend to the cap, are rumored to move, etc..

They should care. When winning teams like Tampa, St Louis are losing millions its a problem. We all knew Florida, Carolina and Columbus were losing but they lost big. More than Arizona.

Over 20% of the teams lost money. That's not good.

That isn't good. It's great. The league and it's successful teams have been carrying the stragglers for too long. The sooner the teams bleeding most are moved to stronger markets (ie Canada) the better. If these teams are winning and they still cant turn a profit that is really all the proof you need that they need to be relocated.

Well when you have the record the Oilers have its pretty hard to defend any of his good moves because they obviously don't have the results. It's realatively easy to point out his errors though.
At the end of the day Eakins hasn't done a great with a horrible team so what does it matter?
