That would be outstanding. A goal and an assist would be nice for Bo tonight.

On the Eakins thing...it's a bit odd that he hasn't been able to teach thee kids how to win. He took a real bad Marlies team and turned them into a legit contender within a three year period. Then again the minors is hardly the NHL but one would have thought that some of that theory would eventually get through to the kids. Could be more going on there...

Don't think Torts could help EDM. Might be able to bring a few of the kids along but that style of coaching is kind of going by the wayside.

Maybe Bylsma is an option in EDM? Plus a MAJOR trade to infuse something into that lineup...

Torts is a non starter. He was fired before his contract on his last two jobs, and is now being paid 1 mil per year for the next four years to do nothing. What team would take that risk and pay him more than a mil a year?

I know a relative of Hamhuis's. Take this for what it's worth but according to them it's a serious groin injury, he'll be out a minimum of three months, and he'll know on Monday if it will require surgery

If I was GM of the oilers I'd trade Perron, Yakupov, Nugent Hopkins and go from there. I'd also recommend Lowe and Mactavish be fired.
