Yeah Labs was terrible, kinda forgot about him. Point is that I was right behind Mac T, didn't care about the boys club chatter, thought he was a smart hockey man and then the Perron trade and I thought that was a sign of things to come.

Well - when you lose and in last place in the west for what the 4th or 5th time in 8 years- there is plenty of finger pointing to go round... Perron is a vet on this team

Definitely agree on finger pointing. Perron is hit and miss. But Perron is not the problem with the team. We all know where the problem lies. But, yes, Perron needs to get his offensive prowness going again.

I was just thinking about it like this: Matt Bartkowski is a pretty neutral acquisition by Chiarelli. If he does well, it will be called a good move even though he's simply in a good situation and plays passably. If he does badly, it'd be called a bad move even though most of the reason for his lack of success would be larger events like Chara getting injured or them trading Boychuk.

MacT hasn't made enough good big moves, and the characterization of his neutral moves has suffered accordingly.
