I would contest that Allen would be a little more sturdy on the backend. It could just be me thinking Allen is better than he actually is and also a desire to see us obtain a strong Dman.

There are a lot of things Niktin and even Aulie can do that Bryan Allen can't, mind you. Bryan Allen's offensive game is non-existent and he can't stay healthy.

The silly thing is that we've got replacements for Niktin and Aulie. If not now, than by the end of the season I think Klef and Marincin could be firmly better than those two.

Do you think Rich Peverley will ever play again? If he was healthy, he'd be an excellent long term 3C.

That's the frustrating part. You'd think that some close insider that is a trusted source may have mumbled something about a possible trade scenario. But there is literally nothing spoken in regards to why Marincin isn't playing.

After Habs sent Bourque to Ana and Edm made the minor league deal i thought #dominoes obviously.

But i seriously wondered if a deal could be brewing where Habs send Tinordi or Bealieau plus some other stuff to Edmonton for Eberle or Yakupov. I know Yaks playing better defensively and hustling but realistically could you see something like this happening?

That was my gut instict which was probably horribly wrong.
