But the worst was during the run. I have season tickets and she's sending texts like "I wish we were back together" and poop like that. Ugh.

I remember the day of "the Richards shift" where I told her to stop contacting me. Very freeing on several levels.

I didn't even watch the Cup ceremony. I punched a metal sign outside of the Linc because IT WOULD TOTALLY BEND TO MY DRUNKEN WILL!

When Hartsy pushed it to OT, I thought that game was ours. I could accept not winning the Cup that year....it was tough accepting that particular loss.

It's been all good since, believe me.

But yeah, that 2010 run holds memories on multiple levels for me.

Because even though the 2010 run didn't end in a Cup, I still remember that fondly.

I was there at Game 6 too.

i watched. i figured i paid for it, might as well see the grail.

i thought it was ours too. when frack missed the open net, i knew it would end badly. even if they got it to game 7, they probably would have gotten crushed, but we'll never know. boston not only won on the road in game 7 the following year, they shut them out.

It was.

That's why I can't speak poorly of Mike Richards, Danny Briere, or Ville Leino. That poop that Ville Leino did during that run...wow, folks forget how really good he was.

That run was a blast. I bought a Claude Giroux jersey because he scored the Game 3 OT winner. I think that purchase worked out well.

The cup run. It's such a bittersweet memory. That Kane goal is without a doubt the most stunning thing I have ever seen on live television.
