Did anyone see the # of times Hornqvist ended up at the point during the Powerplays last night?
Thats the wrong place for that guy
And the #2 unit blows, Leave Malkin out the entire 2 minutes, move him down to the half wall when the #2 unit comes out with Ehrhoff and Martin on the point |

I was following the game on Twitter, so didn't see the hit live. When I did see it, in full speed it looked questionable the first time. On replay it looked fine, but I can understand how live, and from on ice, it could have looked bad to Malkin. Hornqvist went flying pretty good.
Malkin finally got a legit top 6 winger, he was going to do whatever he could to stick up for him and try to keep him safe lol. |

Bennett needs to be out there. He can deal from the right half wall, setting up Ehrhoff bombs.

Yes, to a point. To me, he's a good "second" wing on a top six line. You can't have two Dupuis-type wings on a top 6 line, but one can work great if the other wing is stronger. |

Hit was totally clean , I was actually irritated that Malkin did anything, hate it when players get mad about a clean hit. |

They have no solid D prospects and Jackman is probably not resigning. They could use some future help. And another legit top 4 guy rather than gunnarsson
Plus they are going to need some cap space to resign tarasenko and some others in the near future and could use a solid dman on a ELC. I don't know, got bored and put something together |

One of my crazy malkin trade proposals have been malkin for oshie, backes, plus. I love the blues and would love to see malkin play there and oshie wear a pens jersey |

I wouldn't give up a first for Oshie let alone all of that. He's way overrated. |

Tend to agree with you on Oshie.
You guys think theres any viable trade to be made to pry Kassian out of VAN? |

I like Downie a lot but these penalties are getting ridiculous. You cant keep getting a penalty every game. |

Oshie is a very good player, but I do agree that a lot of people overrate him.
Doubt you get Kassian out of VAN. Everything I've seen suggests fans and management are very high on him still. |

I'd love to see Kassian on Pittsburgh - He's become a fan favorite in Vancouver, and the fanbase has overcome the loss of Hodgson since Cody looks more and more like a bag of sh1t every day
Probably cost more than Dumoulin but Harrington would be an overpayment
Straight up for Despres might do it..... |

It's unbelievable the difference between fleury and greiss. As athletic as fleury is, he's constantly flopping all over the place |

I think fleury is a good goalie with his athleticism and reflexes, but his positioning is just awful |

St Louis gives NY a confidence against us they lacked for years. He has always been a thorn in the Pens side. |
