The only intelligible way to play draft what-ifs is to do them as duos.

I find it incredibly unlikely (and we'd have escaped with no less scorn) if we'd drafted Hall + a dman or Hall + a winger. In other words, we were getting out of those two drafts with at least one centre.

So looking at those options, it's clear that Hall-Nuge and Seguin-Landeskog are FAR ahead of the other outcomes, and I'd argue it comes down to personal preference with those outcomes.

Actually with the fwds we still wont know until another 2 or so years- its just wait and see how things pan out- that is if there are many of these high end picks remaining still on this team by then... to evaluate if we chose right

Even if that was accurate the value difference isn't that much and since Methot is already at his prime and a pending UFA the trade value is better from the Leafs deal, which was my point all along.

Not saying that either deals gets in Eberle, although his value has taken a dive for some reason in the last couple years (likely his over value is levelling out, I once believed Eberle to be worth close to hall or RNH.
