I think it's safe to say in the next 3 games, injury is almost a given. SJ -and especially the Kings- are going to go for big hits, all night long. He'll probably get his chance.

I like our chances against the Kings more this year, they're not playing their system nearly as well. Plus if the Canucks can dictate the tempo and make it a back-and-fourth speed game it's really gonna take away from what the Kings prefer to do. But if they get sucked into the dump-and-chase and cycle game of the Kings like the Canucks were coached to do last year then the Kings will win.

Few things I find off with that story. He said it was given to him by a teammate. How is it that there is no investigation who this teammate is. 2 the Inhaler that he used with Clen is only available in Asia. it is banned in NA. If this was accidental it is a lot of coincidence. I also agree that NHL has their priorities mixed up. Same as NFL when they suspended Washington for 1 year for Marijuana use and then gave Rice 3 games for using his fiancé as a punching bag.

If that's "[wearing] the necessary equipment, and [doing] stuff between whistles" I'd hate to see when he actually starts "playing."

Kind of comparing apples to oranges a bit though. Taking head shots out of it entirely, the league teaches a 'class' in training camp explaining EXACTLY what is/is not within league regulations. If I was making half a million per year, I would make it a point to make sure my bloodstream jibed WITH those regulations- job security. It isn't that hard. In the day and age when the line between success/failure maybe one goal/one win on the bubble, the unfair advantage of a guy jacked up enough to skate faster than he normally would exploits the sh*t out of that.
I know this, mainly from research, as I had submitted my resume, to be the guy to actually teach that curriculum in the league.


I SHOULD have told them, "Yes, you have guys that can already teach the curriculum. But can they make it rhyme? Well, can they?!'
