RH is on fire today. Don't stop now bud. You are in a writers zone now. - Linden_4_Capt
Long Weekend! Time to kill. |

Are we talking about the same team? - Linden_4_Capt
Yeah! 6 decent defense men, plus Sbisa and Corrado...I'm sure some of the guys in the minors would be serviceable for a minor injury... |

After Game 7, when the Sharks bottomed out,
Wilson got to thinking, well ‘What’s this about?’
He looked at his roster, his coach & his club!
Something clealry’d gone wrong, just what was the rub!
I’ve got it! He pondered, A brilliant new thought!
“Let’s go full rebuild! Post haste! On the spot!”
He grabbed some scissors, in a drawer found some waivers,
Should I fire McClellan? No, I owe him some favors!
But I’ll cut off that ‘A’, and trim off that “C”
Look! A whole rebuild! And we did it for free!
Told Havlat, 'Hit the bricks!’
Then ‘Boyle, Grab your things!’
Who was well, willing to go,
Just …not to the Wings!
And what about Joe, who Toronto were eyeing
“No, I won’t waive” and "I wish you’d quit trying!”
It’s ‘tomorrow’s team’, they stated, ‘a cup is quite near.’
But, Doug…isn’t that the same team as last year? - roland_hazard

WD takes Movember year round. He and Quenneville have the best dusters in the league now. |

I can't imagine Willie would have Horvat skating with Higgins and Burrows if he's going to be on the 4th line tonight. IMO he will either fill in for Boner or they gave Boner the morning off and used Horvat as a fill-in - bezz44
Yup, and i'm guessing Bonino's in for the game and Bo sits. Bo will definitely see action this weekend though. |

You saw that too? I still get the feeling that Kypreos and Doug MacLean don't like talking canucks. They seem to wince everytime they are brought up. - bloatedmosquito
Kypreos definitely, Doug actually knows a fair bit about the West conference and I don't hate listening to him, as much as some of the other guys.

Oh wow, How could I forget Paul. Paul is hands down the best, my bad. JQ and WD runners up.
Great picture too. |

Paul is an anomaly though, JQ and WD still look natural. Paul looks like he couldn't grow a moustache and eventually experimented with walrus stem cells |

Makes sense, Bo will play the next game. I'm guessing, 3 games 4 nights, WD will rest someone.
Having Bo in the press box, will ensure no one takes a night off, if they do, they know they will be sitting next game. A motivator of sort. |

Bonino will be in the lineup on Thursday.
Despite missing the Canucks morning skate, Bonino will be in the Canucks lineup tonight vs. the Sharks. Bonino has had a nice start to the season, scoring six goals and five assists in his first 11 contests. He is coming off of a two-goal performance on Tuesday. |

I can understand why, just hope they don't have him sitting more than playing. He needs to be playing games to develop(NHL or junior). I love how when we finally have forward depth everyone is relatively healthy. |

As much as I'd like to see Horvat in myself, I think WD's decision speaks to probably the most understated part of his resume: he is a master level social worker, which, in effect, means he's taken 8 years of higher education studying people, and what helps them to function at their highest potential. I think his liberal-minded approach will, in the long term, get the absolute most of out underperforming individuals who, in an ordinary system, would be scratched. Best example being, talk-of-the-town Sbisa: two goals, a devastating hit, and the willingness to drop gloves and back up his actions totally speaks to that. |

Agreed, I have really liked that about him so far. My only concern with Horvat is that it is not a good use of his time to be up here if he isn't playing. He needs games, and while it might be a cool experience for him travelling around with the team etc. I think he would benefit more from playing time, even if it is in junior. |

I think it's safe to say in the next 3 games, injury is almost a given. SJ -and especially the Kings- are going to go for big hits, all night long. He'll probably get his chance. |
