I think my favorite line from capuano yesterday was... "Most of Strome points last year came from being on a line with martin and boulton/Clutterbuck. "
NO (frank)ING SHAT!!!!! That's because those were his only line mates last year!!!! My god this coach is an absolute dipshat. Tonight has seriously sent me over the effing edge. And the game hasn't even been played yet. But let's be honest, the result of this game is pretty clear. You're not out smarting anyone cappy. Gtf over yourself!!! |

I don't wanna see my team lose. Ever. But I seriously hope they get shut the (frank) out 12-0. Hopefully it gets him fired so we can finally get this season underway legitimately. |

Here's to another night of players not executing, not raising their battle level, attacking their own goalie, and hopefully another loss and one step closer to not having to listen to another Jack Capuano post game interview!
Tonight if they lose it'll be. "Thats one good team over there (missing their starting goalie). I thought we played really good tonight (if they lose 7-0)." - Cptmjl
It's just puck management...which I'm pretty sure is this year's "battle level" in Cappy's hockey vocabulary. |

Tonight will be telling. If the players don't play desperate then it's time for a change. We lose 5-0 and "we didn't play poorly." The Canadiens lose 5-0 and their coach questions their heart.
More than anything, our coaching staff doesn't condemn losing enough. You won win every game but I'd like to see our staff actually say it's not acceptable |

You're absolutely right. And I'm gonna go grab some landshark, but if the Isles get blown out 6-2, does it justify what I wrote? I just think his lines are just flat out stupid, and he's sitting the best player on the 4th line |

Im on board with this. Lets get this guy out asap rather than dragging this shat out and really losing this season and watching the sabres draft an awesome player. Call me crazy but I have no faith in capuano even getting us into the playoffs at this point. I believe his "coaching" has actually gotten worse. |

"What are you guys complaing about we are 6-2? You guys can whine about anything."
This was followed with;
"What are you guys complaing about we are 6-3? You guys can whine about anything."
This was repeated one more time when we were 6-4.
Now theres just silence.

Because a real coach could of gotten the "second most wins in Isles history" in 2 1/2 seasons, not (frank)ing 5. - Dedshark
Even tho Im joking but in all seriousness Snow hasn't put this much talent together before this season, he tried but failed..... |

They just need to score more. The defense? The f@cking defense is light years better than last year. Did you watch any tape from last season? |

Huh? If I get your post correctly, I agree, not sure what another coach could have done with less talent on team? Before this year, the offense outside of JT was not consistent and the G's stunk and the D blew, that's why no one probably wanted the job |

One thing I dont want to be right about. I want them to succeed just as much as everyone else but im not one to stick my head in the sand. Theres no way a team can keep scoring and playing defense like that and expect to win. Its common sense. I said it a few weeks ago that the leafs triedthe same thing last year. We are just facing reality a little quicker. |

We had a thirty goal scorer in g rabner who was suddenly playing five mins a night. A player in bailey who obviously needed tough love. A goalie run into the ground in Nabakov. The same inexplicable line ups we are seeing today and the same god awful "system" we've seen since hes started. Point being capuano doesnt use what he has to its fullest no matter what he has. We made rhe playoffs with Moulson and streit and okposo scoring three goals. |

1 - to go

I think we are all realizing a blue line of all stars would be lost in Jack's "system". |

I've always mentioned that this team lacked talent. Most have hung-on to Grabners rookie season when he's been inconsistent himself on breakaways to even fulfill his job as a goal scorer, unfortunately his hands are made of stone. Bailey is just Bailey (invisible) most of the year and it was a merry-go-round w/the G's bc DP was running this crap team. There wasn't enough talent on team no matter who coached prior, now is a different story. |
