Sutter scored, I'm thinking Bartley just threw up in his mouth a little.

Matt Cooke was scared to face him tonight which is why he didn't play.

Solid road victory tonight.

Did Scuderi actually get two helpers?

And the #1 Star in our hearts thing

I'd rather try to trade him than Martin to be honest, if we had to. I bet we'd have takers.

I like the fact that Hornqvist didn't F around with the puck and went straight to the net and shot it in. He impresses me and whomever for the coaching staff had him in their at that time, smart move, I like it.

Damn it sure is refreshing to be able to put the fourth line out there in the dying minutes of the game and not have to clench your butt hole hoping they can make it out of their own end let alone not blowing the lead.

Anyways I just got off of work so its time to watch the recording. Im grateful scuderi is finally finding ways not to look like a dumpster fire but tbh I still wish his spot was available for one of the young guys.

You guys may be more against trading martin and keeping him for a run now while things are going to smoothly but the season is still young and there are bound to be injuries to our forwards later in. My personal reasoning had more to do with better depth up than simply making a trade for the sake of more (frank)ing scoring as someone said way earlier. Also just because were high scoring now doesn't mean we will still have those numbers at the end of the season let alone in the playoffs which are a whole different beast.

Anyways another piece of food for thought is this. With scuderi playing better, and maybe a little bit of the team playing better and aiding in this big time, it opens up the possibility of him being moved a tad easier towards mid season and or the trade deadline. Especially if other teams are still hurting badly on the backend. Even though I think most of the D prospects would be a big upgrade over scuderi a lot of the same reasons for or against trading martin can apply to him as well so who knows.

Avs are looking awful in the defensive zone again. Time to give them a call? We'd like McGinn for Scuderi please and thanks.

What a fleecing that would be. Don't see McGinn as true top 6, but I'd definitely not say no, and if Scuds was all we had to give up for him? Ah well. Pass the pipe so I can keep dreaming.

That is a bunch of sour grapes my friend. Poor sportsmanship.

I'm torn on Malkin on the PP up 3 in the 3rd.

Love the aggressiveness and going for the killshot.

Other hand, that PP that lead to the shorty was terrible and misplayed.

I guess I'd rather see 2 D at that time.

Other than that, things are almost going too well!

So that's what it feels like to give up a goal huh...

Good to see that third line generating offense. I can't wait to see Comeau bump down onto that third line left wing spot though. That should really strengthen the bottom 6. Spaling with Goc would be big too.

Speaking of Spaling and Goc, both of those players easily had their best games of the year. Goc was quietly performing at a high level. Got some well earned time at wing with Geno for a few shifts as well. Time to set him free from his ball and chain.

Every once in a while we see shades of the old Pens. I'll bet HCMJ was kicking himself afterwards. I don't remotely think you'll see that in May.
