Well the good news is that when the game was still undecided, the Flyers carried the play, especially the Giroux line, with Voracek dominating early. The bad news, is the Flyers sat back too much, as if they thought the game was over. They turned out to be right, but Mason had to make a number of quality saves. I'd much rather see the Flyers continue the attack and the forecheck pressure. Or at least clamp down better defensively.

Yeah I was kind of thinking that had this game been against anyone other than Edmonton, it could have tuned into another Montreal game. When RNH got that goal I had an "uh oh" feeling.

Mason was lights out, but I agree, they let him hang around and gave the Oilers more than enough chances to get back into it.

Not sure how well he'll fit there. That line needs a guy to work the boards. Maybe they try PEB there and get Akeson in somewhere else?
