It's not as bad as you're making it out to be. Seems a little skewed to me, but one player was a top 3 pick, the other is having a surprisingly good start to the season, and who knows, Elliot may not even be the starter a month from now.

Lehtera has 6 points so far and is playing with Tarasenko. Barkov will be crap this year but he is better than Jarnkrok by a country mile and I suspect that Jake Allen will split the starts pretty evenly with Elliott this year |

Don't see it. He isn't going to learn any more back in junior at this point. Needs to up his game and play with higher level talent plus the team needs what he brings. If he is a dud after the nine games then hey what can you do but with injuries coming and such I have a feeling he may stick around. Again the AHL ain't his focus so no shock at all there.
