Hand passes everywhere.

I think the reason the Oilers think the Canucks are cheating is because they are missing small parts of the game, you can't follow the play while pulling off your jersey.

I heard your trainers dulled the oilers skates.

I was one of those guys and I am firmly for suspending Ference, no reason for the hit and he was trying to hurt him.

I'm not gonna lie, last night when you were all over Burrows I just thought that you were being a nob, but I was wrong.

You should be more worried about your Leafs, the Oilers are made for the East.

We were like 5 games over .500 after October(played way more games I think). I don't know though, watching that team last year I felt like they struggled to even generate scoring chances, let alone goals even during wins.

I'm not calling this is a playoff team, but I feel like they can beat any team on any given night again(without the other team just poopting the bed).

- Nucker101

Yeah, my beer's definitely been tasting better on game days of late. The offense and the PP is the biggest difference for me. It feels like we can score at any time, and if you can do that, you can win.

All I'm saying is that I feel we've had a pretty accommodating schedule to start the season. If we can keep up this type of play, even if we lose, against the ANA, LAK, CHI, SJ's of the world then I'll be a believer.

Hey how's it going?
- Yeti1181

Great! I just finished work for the next 3 weeks and I'm off to New Zealand and Australia on Wednesday. Plus I took my kids out trick or treating last night, one of the best experiences a father can have. Life is all coming up Micah.

You?

I don't care if Horvat is 6.4 235 he still hasn't played a game in the NHL.
How is Horvat bigger than the guys we have now, they all know what it's like to play against those CA teams, Horvat doesn't.

- A_SteamingLombardi

Yes they do know how to play against the Cali teams which is why we were 2-9 vs them last year including blowouts. Again I realise Horvat hasn't played a reg season NHL game yet I'm just sayin he has earned his 9 games and he can bring what we need vs bigger clubs...if he plays/shows potential.

Currently 14 players on our roster under 200lbs. Horvat at 6'/205 + lbs I think can bring some game to those bigger clubs. Sure we looked 'ok' vs the Oilers in the third period but a little extra size vs LA/SJ/ANA and such ain't gonna hurt. I guess we'll see if Horvat can compete if they decide to dress him for the Cali games.

Everyone else on my roster is for sale but I like my kids and I don't want any bums back. Gimme high ceiling players and 1st round picks. Buffalo style

In the past we have been able to beat Chicago even in our poopty years so I won't be convinced by much there. It's the Cali teams that have our number and will be the real test. Not really a fair benchmark though since they are three of the best teams in the league

I'm done chasing Vermette. He only looks good because the rest of your veterans suck and the price is too high for him.

Does he have "W" eligibility? On full gamedays I have to usually bench one of E.Staal or Spezza at center in the first place.

Agreed. I do feel like we match up better now against bigger/physical teams who try to slow the game down, especially in neutral zone with Willie's system more so than Torts which is kind of ironic considering what they both preach. Those teams prefer a structured game, but the Canucks style more so these days is to try and open it up for 60 minutes(unless they're up late in the third).

Well this new group of forwards have not played this years CA teams yet. Like I said he'll get some games but he aint going to help us against CA teams, he's the same size as Higgins.

So that's 3-0 against the Oliers this season? Why can't we play them every game?
