I never said I wanted a tank. I still hope they win every single time they play. So please, continue to tell me what I wanted, even though you clearly have no clue.

The difference is I don't care if they lose. It doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that they don't look fit to even beat the Timbits kids at intermission, and that's just a damn travesty.

Losing because you're just not good enough is one thing. Having players that have done well in previous seasons that just look completely lost is entirely another.

IMO we get a real number 1 center and it will help out Moulson and maybe make some kind of differance. Ennis or Hodgson are not that.

He'd be OK if he didn't just wildly throw the puck anywhere. They never could get set up. If that Hodgson, Reinhart, Deslauriers line stick, it may be promising.

Could be only 1 more game. It's game #9 tomorrow for Reinhart.

This team has been two things, terrible and very un-entertaining. Reinhart needs to go back to junior, Benoit and meszaros need to see the press box with McCabe and pysyk getting their ice time. I'm torn on what to do with zadorov, but it's hard to evaluate him when he doesn't see the ice.

I can't wait for kaleta to get back into the lineup, at least he goes balls to the wall and is entertaining. I'd like to see Larson get a shot as well with the Sabres. Mitchell seems to be nolans new D'agostini, he does not belong in the top six.

Murray's real problem is that Carolina has been unexpectedly bad.

I suspect he was thinking things would go like last year - we'd be so bad so early and fall so far behind that he could start tinkering with a lineup for the future sometime in December or January.

With Carolina being so bad, we may have to suck - and put off the genuine reconstruction - even longer.

Definitely. I wasn't pointing fingers at Moulson, in case that's what you thought I was implying. Every single person in that lockerroom needs to look no futher than themselves to fix the issues right now. The entire team is just that bad.

The only players I feel we got a good effort for the whole game out of yesterday were Girgensons and Gorges. Even Neuvirth seemed to give up during the 3rd.

1. This is a very bad idea.

kaleta entertains me, this team hasn't shown a glimpse of entertainment all year.

I think Carolina improves as the year goes on. They have a new coach, they were missing E. Staal, who returned last night, and will get J. Staal back in probably late January/early February. While I think both teams will be at the bottom most of the year, I think Carolina pulls ahead of them in the standings by the end of December.

No not at all, I just mentioned him because he's our " go to guy" and it would be nice to have a good center for him. I really hope this turns around or we may see things get out of control.

He entertains me as well, I love watching him torpedo himself into the boards and then I can laugh because I know that scrub won't be back again.

Thought teddy was working his own roster this year, I cant imagine he is willingly trotting out the same lineup every night. Has to be coming from above right?

Strachan might not be of any help, but why not? Pysyk clearly should be here but isnt (at this point i would rather him stay and help the amerks win i guess)

For god sakes play zadorov or let him go to the KHL

Get reinhart on the PP? We havent scored on one yet.. I personally would like him to stay this season and continue 4th line minutes, but with PP time.

do NOT call grigorenko up, i have changed my mind on this one. There just really is no point to having him here. Im going to the amerks game tonight and hope to see what everyone has been saying about him thus far. Keep it up down there. (maybe loan reinhart for the WJC and get him a look up here then)

Im not really that frustrated, this IS what i wanted after all. But it seems that management is worried we arent going to finish dead last with the lack of roster adustment from within the organization.

I know you like him a lot, but when we are a good team he won't need to be a go to guy.

He needs to do something on his own, just like Hodgson or Stafford. None of them are

If I'm Enroth or Neuvirth right now, I'm screaming and throwing poop at the guys in the room. I think I'd figure out a way to make sure Meszaros and Benoit aren't available to be in the lineup for the rest of the year.

They have to be so frustrated at this point. And it's not really like they can do anything to help, because IMO, they haven't been an issue.

neuvirth was lights out last night, reminded me alot of last season with miller. he broke down a bit toward the end, but I feel it had more to do with toronto finally breaking the seal

Imagine being in a fight five against one. You're the one. Imagine you hold your own against the five for 39:10. And then one guy connects, you go down to a knee, and you get a bloody nose.

Five of you friends are hanging around, but they don't really fight back against the other guys.

You get a bit of a breather, and then the five guys start swinging at you again. Don't you think after you got hit another 2 times you'd just stay down and stop fighting?

That was Neuvirth's night last night.

Myers should not get traded either. If you arent making a 1 for 1 hockey trade to get a top(ish) line forward why the hell would anyone bother. We arent in a position to be trading one of our few roster assets.

I really dont doubt he would look GREAT on a competent team. So why cant we wait for our team to become competent?

Because we spent 6 years developing him. It only makes sense that we would trade him before any of that pays off.
