And your point is? What else are they supposed to show? What you're supposed to look at is teams that are getting amazing goaltending so far(high save percentage) and are due to allow more goals and teams shooting a higher shooting percentage. Some teams obviously have better goalies and shooters so that's why it's best to look at this year's results thus far and compare it to what the team got the last year or 2. The standings today can be quite deceiving because the sample size of games is small so it's best to look at what the in-depth numbers says. Obviously after 82 games the standings tend to reflect teams for what they really are(unless they were hit hard with injuries and/or benefited/suffered from an uneven shootout record). |

so montreal gets shutout by the worst team in the west and toronto shuts out the worst team in the east. at least bobrovsky was kind enough to get injured so the sens can face a mediocre backup. |

why would the yotes give up a top 2 dman if cowen/wiercocih are the best pieces in the deal? if yandle is being moved it's for a top 6 forward, they have enough D, cowen/wiercock won't even crack their lineup. eberle, or a coutourier/schenn type player as the main piece is more realistic. |
