Good blog, comprehensive.

For Domi, do you know if he was eligible for a 10-game tryout? Perplexing why he wasn't afforded at least that, if for nothing else but his own development.

At this point, I can only guess Maloney is waiting for the trade deadline to decide if he should sell off veterans like Michalek and Vermette. Not wrong to think they will both be very marketable then.

But I do agree with your ending. Might as well start the sell off sooner rather than later. Put yourself in the best position to grab a top pick and get some youth on the nhl roster. I'm not typically a fan of this strategy; but if there is ever a year to do it, this is the one.

Domi, he definitely was eligible for the nine game tryout. If they were sending him down no matter what, easier to do it after preseason where no one really knows how he did, since no games were televised.

I get it. I thought you meant the lowest they could finish was 9th or 10th.

Give these readers a break tho, that blog was way to long and I doubt anyone actually read the whole thing.

Just some friendly banter between James and I. Y'know, you don't have to read it.

A ton of character and will, but Gags' deficiencies are pretty deep.

Beside big skilled wingers maybe he can put up numbers, but that remains to be seen. I hope succeeds.

It cost the yotes nothing to find out I suppose, so there's that. but as far as the oilers go early into this season, we're much better off with Purcell.
