Jesus H. Christ. The team is 6-1-0, in first place in the NHL, and you're complaining about something? I said it before, I'll say it again. If Rene Bourque is the biggest problem on this team, we have NOTHING to worry about this season. - 3M
You can still make improvement on the team. It's not because they have a good record that they are perfect.
Right now the third line is useless. We are gonna need an third line that provides secondary scoring or can shutdown the opponent in the grind of the season. |

Exactly...right now we are cruising with a NOTHING contribution from Bourque/Eller... imagine if we have a positive contribution from Bournival or whoever else...

True, but they're still "lucky" to be 6 and 1 IMO. It's not really representative of the quality of their play so far. |

Lars Eller needs to go? - Biggus Richardus
Rene Bourque first.
I still think Lars has the speed/size/shot.
In the past everybody said he shoud not play the wing because he sucks there. Well right now he's sucking at center, his very limited playmaking skill is showing off.
He needs to learn to play wing/ cut to the net and a center that can feed him the puck in stride. |

Eric, surprised you failed to mention the dominating stat on the season so far: 6 consecutive games without scoring first. it's great that the team has shown enough character to win 5 of them, but that wears on a team, and it's something that needs to reverse course at some point in the near future. what are your thoughts on not being able to strike first?
also, regarding Price, i'm not sold. prock has made it very clear that Price is in line for a lousy season. - DoubleDown
I mentioned in it in the first paragraph.
Of course, the unknown is two-fold:
How will they be at defending a lead?
What do they have to do better to get ahead?
But, it's more hypothetical than real, so we'll wait to see, and address it then.
In the meantime, do you guys watch Sons of Anarchy? |

agree. hasn't been one game where they've really seemed in control or where they've just buried the opposition in the second half of the game. Colorado was close but the Habs let them back in the game near the end. |

I agree, his size is needed. But every game is getting clearer that he doesn't belong up the middle |

Well, isn't that an argument to get a guy who does absolutely nothing for you out of there and see if someone else can't contribute?
