The duos stick and the right wing rotates. I have no problem with it. Notice that the RW playing the best ends up playing with 14-27, not 51-67... And it's worked. I've criticized Therrien too often for not adapting to game situation to not praise him when he does it right.

I'm just not a fan but I'll be patient with it

Oh I'm not saying it was good. But it's also the first week for a totally new broadcast team. At least we know it should only get better.

The balanced lines, I agree with you. They'll get it together in the first soon enough and will be hard to contain. On that mote, love Bourque's overall effort to start the season.

The D-Core might be a bit trickier. Subban and Weaver are likelyo get it together. But, Gilbert and Emelin with the brain farts and horrible zone coverage is not really new, so unless Tinordi and Beaulieu can repeat performances like tonight when they au tougher teams, Price will be a busy goaltender.

I do like the balance, and the swapping people around does not seem to hurt the depth this year (ie: all of a sudden, Moen is playing with Peks last year...).

Subban needs to calm the (frank) down and just play his game, still trying too hard. Give aways happen in games, sometimes because of a bad play, some times because of the oppositions' strong play - I can take the give-aways, if the team is consistently covering for one another when that happens.

Would be nice to see what this team could do it if played 60 minutes for a few games in a row.

Pierre Houde and Marc Denis we're just fine, it sucks to have to listen to this crap.

But hopefully TVA will get better...

Anything is better than the TSN radio guys.... (frank), the Habs should be ashamed of that gong show.

Admittedly, Pierre and Marc are what I miss most when watching TVA.

Obviously Chucky is a big part of it, but I think a lot of the offence we're seeing from Pleks is from Manny taking over a chunk of his defensive responsibility and starts.

They will.

Good Lord, the first 4 on the road to start the season?

I'd say it's started pretty well for them.

I don't understand what happened, he was playing amazing in buffalo before they traded him. Obviously they were still losing, but it wasn't Miller at all.
