despite the record, I wouldn't say the Habs are looking good

They start late, but the 3 well balanced lines are very difficult to play againts. I like.
Plus the dcore, the only ? on the team IMO, should improve with time and practice.
Should make the playoffs very easily.

I haven't watched them play a combined 60 minutes so it wouldn't be right for me to say anything.

I'm not going to complain about their start, but I'm not sold that it will easy

ya that would suck. Pretty epic collapse by the flyers tonight. Interesting that some of their fans are pissed at the reffing...

Strombo, you're in the big leagues now. Get a tie, stop with the skinny jeans, and use a comb not a pork chop.

Galchenyuk 1st off to grab him. He gave Eller an earful too in the OT. I'm liking this kid's heart

I've only watched one game from start to finish.

The comeback wins will sure build character, I don't care who the competition is.

The balanced lines, I agree with you. They'll get it together in the first soon enough and will be hard to contain. On that mote, love Bourque's overall effort to start the season.

The D-Core might be a bit trickier. Subban and Weaver are likelyo get it together. But, Gilbert and Emelin with the brain farts and horrible zone coverage is not really new, so unless Tinordi and Beaulieu can repeat performances like tonight when they au tougher teams, Price will be a busy goaltender.

Growing pains, gotta give it some time, even if I completely agree about the wardrobe.

Just look at TVA, everyone was bashing Brisebois after first game. His analysis of PHI's first goal tonight was bang on. In fact, other than Damphousse, everyone on the RDS panel would have blamed Beaulieu which would have been wrong and stupid.

Oh I agree on the dcore. I said they should improve with time, that doesn't mean they'll be good enough to my liking. Gilbert and Weaver on the right side... meh.
I wouldn't be surprised to see MB trade for a vet later on. A good one(3-4th), not another 7th dman.

The duos stick and the right wing rotates. I have no problem with it. Notice that the RW playing the best ends up playing with 14-27, not 51-67... And it's worked. I've criticized Therrien too often for not adapting to game situation to not praise him when he does it right.

Ya Pleks and Galchenyuk are fired up, a bit of Gallagher trying to get the other two going and Pleks/AK getting Parenteau going
