It's not how, it's how many.

That's what Gretz always said.

These things do tend to even out over the course of a season. They will lose games that they deserved. Thank Tokarski for the 2 points and get ready for Philly.

Not sure why they don't bother showing up in the 1st period... wouldn't it make their lives easier?

I disagree. They played a terrible, terrible first period. Tokarski allowed them to wake up, and they did. Thought they were the better team in the second and third, didn't you? Malhotra almost 70%!! Eller had a good night in the circle as well. I also thought Bourque showed up last night. No clue how that's goalie interference on the PA goal. I mean, if they are calling that all season, it's going to be tough to score goals.

Plek in the shootout!!!! Woohoo!!

Thing is, the game should have been out of hand after the 1st period.

They were the better team in the 3rd for sure... and maybe half the 2nd.

But that 1st period was simply horrendous.

100% it should have been out of hand after the first. But it wasn't, and they picked it up and did what they needed to do. I like to see that. Why did Travis Moen play? Showcasing him?

It's the last thing they should be doing if they try to move him.
