Did anyone else hear that there is an investigation with Glendale officials being bought off?

The Coyottes were suppose to be moving to Seattle this season and the new owner went in and bought the votes to keep the team there. They were valued at 187 mil and now that the new tv deal went through the wants to buy and sell them for 500 Mil.

They were talking about it on the 1040 this morning. Ian Maclutchie went to Pratt and asked him if he seen the article and they were discussing it on the air. That is why I am asking if anyone knows anything about this

Yeah I heard that . I was just searching the Internet and there are lots of articles about them moving to Seattle.

I think we will hear more in the next few days. Apparently the officials were going to nix the deal for Glendale and the team was suppose to be on the move , but then the 6 billion tv deal got signed and so the new owner stepped in so he can now sell the team for more than twice the value , paid off the officials of Glendale and now will sell
the team.

That's the rumour in the readers digest version.

It is Bennington first year and Gillis did tie his hands . He has done a lot , but maybe didn't realize how much needed to be done. Torts (sorry Marwood ) was an idiot but he wasn't blind. When he said this was a stale core that needed to be gutted , he was correct.

Do you take the high draft pick or do you mortgage the farm to bring in high end talent with trades? I would keep the high draft picks and be patient.
