I'm right there with you. I played for years, always as catcher, and as soon as it started to get to the point that people took it seriously and the coach said I was too small to be a catcher and put me on third I realized, holy poop, this game sucks.

I mean who's kidding who here. The canucks have a legitimate first line and three 4th lines. I'm a fan and all but all this talk about how they have improved I don't understand. I fully expect them to be worse, and I don't think that's a bad thing. A couple more decent draft picks and they can re-load.

Just because a guy gets traded for kesler doesn't make him a 2nd line centre ... and burrows and higgins are third liners at this stage of their career at best. I like them as players, but nowhere near having the consistency to be a reliable 2nd line scoring threat.

Wow, you've been a member of this site since 2007 and this is the first time (I think) I've seen you post. I've noticed that a lot lately. Long time members that have just recently started to post (at least more frequently).

I was a lurker for a few years but I just couldn't keep my opinions to myself.

Nice to see so much optimism here after a long summer...
