Which goalie would you pick of these five for a pool

1 win= 1 point
Shutout = 2 points for 3 points total

Craig Anderson
Bernier
Mike smith
Luongo
Miller

I would think Luongo but he's on a bad team so he won't get wins. Van probably gets the most wins but I think miller is a garbage goalie.

I'm kinda torn on who I should pick.

No your opinion is never out of place, or any less valid than anyone else posting here. As for JB, if giving that lil (frank)er a hard time keeps him away from spending as much time as he has here, would probably be better for the kid to grow up in real life, rather than online. He has a lot of years ahead of him to unproductively waste his time here like the rest of us degenerates, might as well enjoy his youth while he has it.
- ruttager17

Meh. It's his choice. All I'm saying is give the kid more of a break and don't bash all his opinions just for the sake of getting him away from the online world (which, BTW, I too grew up on ) as he might actually take it personally.

Again, "might" needs to be emphasized. Maybe he's down with all this. I don't know. (frank)er could be some kind of weird internet-based emotional masochist

Smith or Miller. Both teams are good bets to be in the hunt so around 25-30 wins is viable. The rest either have 1B options behind them (Anderson or Bernier) or play for a bad team (Luongo and Bernier [lololololol]). If it's a keeper league, though, Bernier all day.

When he learns to respect his elders, he get's a break. I got the same sh!t as a kid....but in real life, as the internet wasn't a thing yet. People are much scarier in person.

Yeah there are a bunch of boxes 5 per box, you pick one and that's it for the season. Easy way to do a company pool.

I'm thinking smith because of shutouts though.

The first box is
Crosby
Ovechkin
Stamkos
Giroux
Getzlaf

Bernier without a doubt. I hate the leafs more than anyone but they will have the most wins of the remaining teams

Respect should be earned, not given. I respect quite a few people here for their opinions and saying what they believe. A lot of my "elders" have little to no respect from me due to being worthless people. I think jb is the one who needs to earn respect. Seeks like a decent kid, just lazy and a little know it all at times like most teens.

Yeah leads might get a bunch of wins, but I'd say he has the most competition in terms of a backup, plus Bernier has injury history.

Ottawa is a pretty weak team this year so Anderson is out.

If Luongo was on a better team it would have to be him but he's on the wrong team

Nah dude. I finished it now. I was just giving some insight as to what it was lol

That was the only box I really had trouble on.

Feel bad for the poor sacks who handed in their sheets early with guys like skinner staal and Datsyuk on their teams.

If this was real, and we didn't use avatars and online names, easier said than done. A teen should respect adults/peers and those that have made the achievement of living to an age they themselves are far from achieving. Tough to do in these threads and bottom line is, JB needs to (frank) OFF

Meh. That whole respecting your elders thing is flawed in my opinion. It perpetuates a fallacy in society that those of older age needn't show the same respect, courtesy, and just general human decency to those younger than them merely on the basis that they've been around longer. I'll always be respectful (in the considerate sense of the word) of their needs and offer my help when it's needed, but only those who truly deserve my respect (in the admiring sense of the word) will get it.

When I was 15/16 I hadn't met anyone aside from my parents who had earned my respect, so perhaps it's just a difficult thing for him to express to people if he hasn't met anyone worth admiring or emulating yet. I didn't meet someone worth that till I was almost 18.

If it's just a G, A, and P league than your choice is between Crosby and Stammer. Goals are harder to get, but it's hard to refuse the best player in the world. If it counts more than that (PIMs, hits, and such), Getzlaf really begins to show some major value.

Yeah it's just goals and assists. Strictly just points. I picked Stamkos over Crosby last year because I was tired of picking crosby only to him get injured. Sure enough Stamkos breaks his leg.

So if Crosby gets a freak injury this year you'll know why
