I hate the average American, in all honesty. All these narrow-minded people who think its okay to be obese and obtuse have pretty much been the sole reason for why the country can't get any legislation passed. On the food issues, I had a lady try to come into my store the other day and couldn't fit through the doors. She threatened to sue me and my boss for not accomodating someone of her girth. I couldn't believe the audacity of that fat female dog. More times than I can recall, I get these huge people down here saying its not their fault their fat and that its ok to eat/not excersize as they do because being thin is just what society wants. Ugh. Then they complain about high health care costs when they are a huge part of the reason health care costs so much.

Of course when Obamacare comes around to help out millions of people they call Obama a communist tyrant. Some people are calling him a nazi/reincarnation of Hitler. I will never understand these people. Without giving details, how in any world is our president like Stalin, Moussolini, Kim Jong Un.. let alone Pol Pot, Saddam Hussein (shut up about the middle name, lol), Ghaddafi, or other tyrants?

Its weird too, because (living near a giant military base) most of my friends/peers/clients use the US military version of dating as 7 Oct 2014.

And in terms of the order we say it, look back at writings before 1900, most people of importance would use it as.. "the 7th of October, 2014" but would actually lay out the year when they spoke it, like "the seventh of October, of the year two-thousand fourteen."

Let's not even get onto the issue of safety and well being. It's bad when there is such terrible crime. I've been to NOLA a couple of times and dude, i have never felt safe down there. Meanwhile, even in the "bad areas" in many of the major cities in Canada, I have no problem being in them. Mind you, i have never been through Toronto's ghetto, or onto a reservation, but I've walked through many places drunk out of my mind, in the middle of the night and never had an issue. I would never do that in America. No matter what.
