corsi is certainly a usefull tool and it's taught me a few things. more open to it than I used to be.

but its almost like a pre emptive defence for the analytic lovers to call the non believers stupid for not whole heartedly believing in it.

as I said; usefull tool, but so FAR from being infallible. absolutely does not tell the whole story. it has a ton of drawbacks. imo, many times small moments that cant be qualified and quick adjustments in game can be far more important and indicative to the final results of a game or a teams success.

Excellent post. As a chronic smarta$$, my posts about it are merely in jest to those that seem to rely on it, or believe in it as an exact science. Of course a useful tool. Just don't think a team can be built on paper, with stats alone to be a champion. Hasn't worked out in Oakland yet, but very effective getting bang for their buck.
