after all my experience playing video games, I can tell you those pairs don't match because of their handedness. Ze proper pairings are:

Greene (LHS) - Zid (RHS)
Merrill (LHS) - Larsson (RHS)
Gelinas (LHS) - Severson (RHS)

Based on yesterday's practice lines it was both zidlicky and gelinas practicing with harrold on the 4th pair so perhaps that means one of them will be the 7th to start

Adam larsson will go down in devils history with neil brady and rocky trottier as the 1st round picks.
