Okay? I don’t really see it that way. It’s not like he screwed the pooch. .911 as a backup isn’t bad. He did his job, as a backup. Bernier doesn’t get hurt, they probably make the playoffs. But that’s not Reimer’s fault.

On a list of things that went wrong, Reimer isn’t one of the first things I’d point to. At all.

See the only issue I had with Reimer was the early goals he surrendered. Other than that he was fine. But I had huge issues with seeing Franson and Phaneuf on the PP together.......a pitiful 4 minute fourth line....guys like Kulimen playing the perimeter (great in the neutral zone, but what good is that without noone digging for pucks and forechecking hard when we get the puck in deep)....Lupul not knowing which side of the ice he was supposed to be on and on and on and on.

oohhhh, man, I just want the puck to drop. I can't wait for this season. I don't usually get THIS excited for the start of a season. But I'm totally jacked this year.

Phil Kessel – Certain media personalities in Toronto like to rag on Kessel. They like to say that he doesn’t try hard enough, that he doesn’t give it 110%. Until you show me some way to quantify his effort, which I don't believe to be an issue, I’ll just continue taking his 30+ goals to the bank every season. This is a player who has played on some dreadful Toronto teams over the years, and yet he continues to be one of the league’s offensive leaders. Imagine what kind of damage Kessel could do if Tyler Bozak wasn’t his center. He’s a dominant sniper.

Well then I misunderstood. I thought it was being said that he IS to blame.

And to be fair, not everyone did. I doubt a majority even.
