No. Reimer is a decent goalie. He didn't play great, but he was also thrown in above his head with no one else to turn to. That's not really his fault.

It's kind of like Bozak. He's played alright as a first line centre. He's not really a good first line centre though. But it's not his fault the Leafs don't have better.

Assuming that's the most important part. Although I don't hate the idea - it means they'll put Phaneuf in more offensive situations rather than trying to have him anchor the defensive zone.
