Meant to ask earlier, was Bouillon that bad? He seemed to play fairly well against the Leafs. - Woderwick
Always liked Bouillon, he's small but as tough as they come.
But at 38, he's not as fast as he used to... I don't mind seeing the team give young players like Beaulieu and Tinordi a chance.
This being said, Bouillon could be an interesting depth guy for a team willing to offer him a one-way contract. |

Honestly, if there was ever a year to tank and get the first overall next year.
It's this year. |

If that's what they're saying either:
A) Habs are always on a powerplay and my god people were right all along about Ref bias.
B) Those sites are wrong beyond measures
C) Every Habs fan in the world are insane and keep mistaking Markov for Gorges.
Your call. - Scabeh
I just did a quick stats check. Subban did pretty much all of the offensive lifting on his own. Looks like Gorges basically never crossed the opposition blue line which makes sense since Subban likes to get involved so much. Who will be there now? Emelin? Hopefully he plays that same style to allow PK to run free.

ranking the top 5 wingers
Phil Kessel – Certain media personalities in Toronto like to rag on Kessel. They like to say that he doesn’t try hard enough, that he doesn’t give it 110%. Until you show me some way to quantify his effort, which I don't believe to be an issue, I’ll just continue taking his 30+ goals to the bank every season. This is a player who has played on some dreadful Toronto teams over the years, and yet he continues to be one of the league’s offensive leaders. Imagine what kind of damage Kessel could do if Tyler Bozak wasn’t his center. He’s a dominant sniper. |

Emelin needs to make better decisions on the ice.... if he does he could be a very important player for us.
Playing it safe while being PK's partner is part of that. Subban will take chances, most of the time it will result in something good/great. Gotta back him up when it doesn't. |

They used to say the same about Sundin playing with wingers that were 2nd liners or past their prime. |

Would be nice for him, if he has nothing the Habs will give him a job in the organization.
You never have enough guys like Bouillon around. |

That's what it looks like on paper. I think Gardiner and Rielly in their prime are going to always need that type of partner who knows to be a safety hinge style player. |
