So Send Nylander to Modo in exchange for them releasing Loov to play with the MArlies?? And if he goes to sweden he doesn't count as one of the 50 reserve lists?? - burn
Would rather take advantage of the unique opportunity to get him in the AHL right away. Full schedule of games as opposed to twice a week in Europe along with playing north American hockey. Hard to imagine him back in Sweden next year.

Looks like Percy cracks NHL at similar stage other D taken in same area of '11 draft - Klefbom, Beaulieu - are knocking on the door. - Fruitcakenipple
Nice to see youngsters making their way onto the big team the old fashioned way. |

Honestly Polak has looked much better then I anticipated. - Yeti1181
He is not the slow plodding D-Man he was portrayed as by many. He can skate.
I'll take him over one-hip Gunarsson any day. |

So the splitting up of JVR and Phil and reuniting Kessel with Lupes to create more balance lasted all of......zero.......games? |

Its not a unique opportunity. Teams want these kids to go back home and play instead of letting develop in the ahl. There must be a good reason for it since they know way more about the leagues than us fans. The ahl doesn't lack size and strength, it lacks speed and skill. They wouldn't be doing him any favors putting him with bigger and rougher men on a smaller ice surface at this point. Not to mention burning up a year of his contract. I think he played close to 80 games over there last year. Plus the europe leagues spends more time practicing and training. |

Shanny and Dubas know what they are doing. I don't even know if Nonis is allowed to make any moves any more. |

Whatever they've been doing since Dubas came in, I want them to keep it up.
Not saying that he's the reason, just a convenient marker for the timeframe... |

Maybe Nonis got really smart all of a sudden
First time in a long time I have felt perfectly comfortable with management. Burke wasn't too bad though. Much better than Nonis. |

First one is debatable since they could play in the chl.
Second one has be mentioned many times over the years by guys on tsn and other sports outlets. They use it as a reason to explain their style of play compaired to other countries. |
