Gunnarson for Polak was not a bad move at all.

Gunnarson, soft, not particularly offensively inclined, very similar to Gardiner without the offensive upside.

Polak is a strong skater and certainly not easy on the puck or opposition.

People who criticize that move aren't taking into account Gunnar having major hip surgery. Very god chance he'll never be the same.

Who knows? He looked like a great pick. He just didn't pan out. He's not quite in the same boat as Alexandre Daigle but probably docks in the same marina.
