I think he's being respectful cause he knows he's rookie... Now sophomore.
Read Seigel's article on him. Those are his 2 favourite players, and guys he patterns himself after. - Big_Lightnin
I think he'll be better than his idols. |

I do miss him being nicknamed "The Waterboy" and walking out to Can't Touch This though... Ares is waaaay to serious of a nickname even if your doing the whole no emotion psycho persona - DarcyTucker16
Ufc lets the fighters pick their own walkout music. They had rorys old number and would text it asking him for his song. Turns out it was just some random dude picking his songs for him. Rory approached the ufc about his music and thats when they found out it was the wrong number the whole time. |

It's an auction pool dude, you have $260....20 teams. My team last year finished 3rd. Just goals/assists for players....wins/shutouts for goalies.
Team this year
Team lawrence
C Steven Stamkos 72
C Nazem Kadri 15
C Leon Draisaitl 1
LW Taylor Hall 45
LW Jonathan Huberdeau 8
LW Johnny Gaudreau 1
RW Tyler Toffoli 2
RW Brendan Gallagher 1
RW Mika Zibanejad 2
D Shea Weber 35
D Alex Pietrangelo 24
D Brent Seabrook 7
D Morgan Rielly 2
G Jonathan Bernier 36
G Anton Khudobin 5 - mykokes
Hard to say without seeing other teams as my league is only 16 people deep.
I prefer auction draft, because everyone can pick whoever they want.
Looks like you're relying heavily on younger players.
Solid D core though.
Your RWs are really weak though and LWs are a significant dropoff after Hall.
Good luck though. That's the fun in the season. anything can happen

They should just adopt the Rory MacDonald dead look in their eyes, all the time. Creep the other teams out. |

Good. I'm glad Nylander is going back to Sweden. No need to rush him, he's just a baby still. Next year, send him to the A. |

My strategy for this one is usually get one of the big guns up front (80-100 points), load up on d that get over 50 points (150 points from 3 d), and fill in the rest with 40 point guys. I went too high on Bernier......kind of left me hamstrung, I was also trying to drive up the price on Weber (had planned on using his money for Karlsson or Subban, but both those guys went for $55.). i don't mind grabbing young players, but grabbing two rookies, I think i (frank)ed that up big time. Though if I had gone with that strategy last year, I would've had tyler johnson and nathan mckinnon. So......here's hoping Draistl and Gaudreau have great rookie seasons. I think 750 points will win the pool, it did last year. |

A buddy of mine plays poker with a guy who lives next door to the cousin of a guy who works out with Roberts.
The guy wanted to develop his chest muscles, so Roberts took this big, heavy bar, and put some weights on either end, had the guy lie down on a bench, and then had the guy press the weights upward and downward.
Like, 10 up and downs. And he made the guy do it 3 times.
It's so effing genius. - Atomic Wedgie
I don't believe that. Next you'll be telling me hockey players run and ride bikes to get into shape. |
