I wonder at what point heads would roll. How many losing seasons is too many?

Two of them were signed as UFA's, I don't think they should count. Anyone can sign a UFA.

Anyone can overpay for a UFA. I'd argue that the roster full of first rounders is still bottom of the division because the Oilers have struggled to sign meaningful UFA vets to complement their youth.

But point taken. Sbisa is a 1st rounder.

Benning needs to continue stockpiling first round picks, the past two years we've drafted Horvat, Shinkaruk, McCann, Virtanen and perhaps Demko…gotta keep that up and something will stick for sure!!

Lots of those kids are still pretty young…but so were the Avs forwards two years ago, then Roy showed up.

They may be young, but isn't this Hall and Eberle's 5th year in the league? RNH 4th, Yak 3rd. Now another top 3 pick rushing straight to the NHL. If they don't make the playoffs this year, do you give the management one more chance? Two more chances? I don't really care either way.
