Looks like a young #27 - blizzzard
There's an awful lot of similarities. He's so fluid and effortless in his stride just like 27. |

We would be lucky if he turned out half as good but That is who he reminds me of a lot. I would be pretty happy if he made it and i dont think that would mean he would be the 7th guy I think it would mean we finally see the d for f trade a lot of us have been talking about but who knows Lou doesnt like making tough decisions anymore he will likely make him play in albany so he doesnt have to move anyone |

(frank)ing Salvador - willschulme
I was thinking the same thing. It amazes me how he is a lock for this team and that a guy who is better will be cut. How is that good for a franchise ? How does that set a good example to players coming up ? its stuff like this that just baffles me. If his only purpose is to lead then keep him in the dressing room, just not as a player. |

It's amazing how much better Severson is. If Salvador gets resigned I will officially lose faith in Lou. |

I'd love to see them do something like this:
Cam- Zajac- Jagr
Zubs- Elias- Havlat
Clowe- Henrique- Ryder
Ruutu- Gomez- Carter
Brunner
Greene- Merrill
Gelinas- Larsson
Salvador- Zidlicky
Harrold
Severson
Waive Gionta, Josefson, Bernier and keep 8 Dmen up. Salvador is going to need nights off, if there is an injury to a forward, Gelinas looked decent at forward last year, he still gets his PP minutes and gives Severson playing time. Ownership shouldn't be that upset with this as it is under 2 million in one way contracts headed to Albany and Carter would probably sign for 900k or less if no one was claimed. |

Hope not, if the Devils want a veteran presence on D I'd prefer they pursue Martin in the offseason. Don't really want Zidlicky back either, he's played well, but the younger D has made him expendable. How about a D next year that looks like is:
Greene-Merrill
Martin-Larsson
Gelinas-Severson |

Managed to catch the end of the 3rd...I'm assuming he is talking about the god awful backhand pass at center ice to no one except a ranger skating the other way |

He also had a very graceful move falling over his own feet skating backwards. I think the hate for Salvador is less about him doing anything in particular and more about taking a roster spot away from Severson who certainly has looked ready to play in the NHL. |

Just caught the highlights. Looks like Larsson was taking some more chances to be part of the offense. I like that, really really looking forward to watching him and Gelinas (and Merrill but we all know Pete loves him) play a lot this year now that they're on one way contracts and Pete has seemed impressed with their play through camp. |

Larsson’s assist on Jagr’s goal was his second of the game. The first came on Tuomo Ruutu’s deflection goal in the first. Larsson took a wrist shot from the left point that Ruutu deflected down and between Talbot’s pads.
Larsson wasn’t that pleased with his game overall, though.
“I probably made more mistakes than I did in the other three preseason games (combined),” he said. “But, as a team we did a good job tonight.”
Larsson, who was paired with veteran Bryce Salvador tonight, was happy to get the two assists, but thought he could have been better in other areas.

I agree with this assessment. Pleased that he feels he didn't make many mistakes in the other games. I felt he was uncharacteristically committing too much in the defensive zone when he didn't have to, and that it led to a number of point blank chances against. |

Cory was rock solid honestly I'm so happy he will be getting 70 games this year. That alone makes me like out chances at the play offs |
